Yoga State of Mind

Whatever brings you to the mat, Yoga State of Mind at Sunrise Yoga celebrates all wonderful ways in which we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, become more aware, present and connected, and gain invaluable skills for life.

During the class expect to learn different breathing techniques (Pranayama), work on correct body alignment through twisting, balancing and strengthening poses (Asanas) and at the end choose to relax, reflect or go inside with the help of Guided Meditation, Crystals and Five Senses. I hope the skills learnt during our practice will extend to your everyday life, whether to help you feel more positive, energised, keep a better posture, eat more mindfully or respond better to stressful situations.
This class welcomes all levels, however, please be mindful of the fact that yoga in general is for people in good physical condition. While fitness level can be developed through regular practice, each student needs to be honest with themselves about their body limits and health conditions.
