Vitreus Art will be taking part in the fabulous Milton Keynes Art Week!
Demonstrations of Stained Glass art – leading and foiling, also glass fusing and glass applique, and if you’re lucky you may get to see Jenny doing some scented candle making too.
Do check with the studio to ensure the demos you would like to see are happening the day you will be visiting.
About Milton Keynes Art Week:
Milton Keynes needs an event that involves at least a hundred MK artists, across many arts forms, and draws from south Northants, west Beds and north Bucks. The group will then continue to meet to develop the ideas for the first MK Arts Week, due to start in 2016.
A succcessful MK Arts Week would greatly support MK`s aspiration to become European Capital of Culture in 2023.

Eventually it is intended that MKAW will include the opening of local studios and workshops, showcasing artists’ work, encouraging the growth of local artistic activity and giving residents and visitors improved access to a wide range of locally produced arts and crafts. It will also include other art forms such as dance, writing and music, rehearsal, workshop and performance events, most probably in CMK.
MKAW will help put MK on the regional and national cultural map!
